HCL: Hopton Park, Devizes, Wiltshire SN10 2JP
In HCL's case the ServiceNet® proposition has been turned on its head. The whole MFICS (Mobile Field Inspection and Certification System) solution centers instead on an installed field asset database hosted by Telepartner, which can be accessed by HCL's regional offices through a Web browser and by the engineers in the field using their handheld PDAs. By removing the paperwork and integrating ServiceNet with their Sage Accounting system, they improved the time taken to invoice customers.
